Positive: The property is in a great location, close to restaurants and the beach, and the layout of the studio itself was nice. I also appreciated the complementary bottle of wine and water provided on arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.

Negative: The listing for this studio is unfortunately quite misleading. The walkway shown “to the beach” does not lead to a sandy beach—only directly into the sea, meaning there is no sand to walk on. The listing also stated there were three beds, but in reality, there was only one. The bed itself was old and overly soft, and the pillows were very worn out; I had to fold them just to get some proper rest. The beach chairs and tent were also advertised as part of the stay, but in fact they must be rented and paid for daily. The A/C unit could not go below 22°C, which made the room feel warm at times. I had to keep it running all day just to ensure it was cool enough at night. While the room looked clean at first glance, once I began wiping surfaces it was clear that it had been sitting untouched for some time. Dust was noticeable, and some of the glasses were not properly cleaned. The blender stopped working the moment I tried to use it, which felt unsafe and highlighted a lack of proper equipment maintenance. At one point, the water supply also went out, though this was resolved quickly after I reported it. Upon check-in, the host made unnecessary comments about previous guests’ experiences, which I did not feel was appropriate. I also mentioned that my young son might stay with us for the first night if he felt uneasy staying with relatives he had just met. The host assured me this was fine and did not mention any extra charges. However, I was later asked—on the final night of our stay—to pay an additional fee for two nights via Booking.com. The charge was listed as an “extra adult,” which was not the case, and it should have been communicated upfront. Finally, at check-out, I felt uncomfortable when questioned about some of my personal items (such as a pillow and water jug) as though I might have been taking things from the property. While I understand the need to check the unit before departure, the manner in which it was done came across as accusatory.
